My ex-husband has been abusing me terribly. I'm still wearing the scars of that on my body and in my mind. But they are beginning to be less and less clearly visible, and I think I'm ready to go looking for a sweet man. At least, I'm sticking my toe in the water and feeling a little what the temperature is. I've obviously become a little cautious. But I do miss warmth, love and intimacy. I never knew that before.
